I struggled with body image distress and eating disorders for almost two decades. On top of that, until my early 20s, I was living with undiagnosed - and untreated - ADHD and anxiety which made my relationships with food and my body that much more challenging.

My journey through eating disorder recovery paired with my educational background fuels my passion to guide you towards a positive relationship with food and body image.

I want you to be able to celebrate your worth at every size, and embrace authenticity without apology. The services I provide are the same ones I wished for during my own recovery. And the community I’ve created is the safe space I didn’t know I needed - one where no one walks alone.

My Approach to Counseling and Coaching

I approach therapy as a collaborative journey, where my role is to engage through questioning, provide psycho-education, offer perspective, illuminate strengths, normalize challenges, and encourage steps toward the change and growth you seek.

My therapeutic style is a purposeful blend of effective interventions drawn from various approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy, Solution-Focused, Somatic, Client-Centered and Gestalt Therapy.
 Additionally, I integrate Intuitive Eating, a self-care eating framework that combines instinct, emotion, and rational thought. This weight-inclusive, evidence-based model is supported by a validated assessment scale and nearly 200 published studies.

My passion lies in empowering individuals to live authentically and unapologetically. Central to this journey is letting go of dieting behaviors, fostering healing in your relationship with food and body,
and embracing self-acceptance.

I provide specialized support for professionals working with clients who face challenges like body image concerns, eating disorders, and ADHD. My services include customized staff training sessions designed to equip your team with evidence-based strategies to recognize and address these issues. These interactive trainings are tailored to your needs. I also offer guest coaching presentations for your community, where I share practical tools and tips for body image healing in an engaging and accessible format.

For mental health therapists, I provide supervision and consultation to help you navigate complex cases, assess client needs, and strengthen your therapeutic approaches. My work is grounded in a weight-inclusive, evidence-based framework, and I’m passionate about promoting collaboration and empowering professionals to provide compassionate, informed care.
